Let's delve a little deeper into this year's Christmas lineup on Disney+

Home Alone

Genre: Comedy; Family

When eight-year-old Kevin McCallister becomes the man of the house, overnight, mischief ensues! Accidentally left behind when his family rushes off on a Christmas vacation, Kevin gets busy decorating the house for the holidays.

But he's not decking the halls with tinsel and holly. Two bumbling burglars are trying to break in, and Kevin's creative (and painful) selection of booby traps awaits them!

Home Alone has arguably one of the BEST Christmas soundtracks of all time, right? Why not listen as you read đźŽ„

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny

Genre: Action; Adventure

Need help picking a movie the whole family can enjoy this Christmas? Here's one to add to the watch list.

Harrison Ford returns to the role of the legendary hero archaeologist for the final instalment of the legendary franchise. Thrust into a challenge that tests his strength and his patience, Indiana Jones risks everything to keep an ancient dial that could change the course of history from those who want the device for their own personal gain.

With a stellar cast that includes Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Antonio Banderas, and Mads Mikkelsen, Indiana Jones and The Dial of Destiny is packed full of adventure and action.

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny is streaming exclusively on Disney+ from December 15th.

The Santa Clauses

Genre: Family; Drama

Season’s Greetings - Tim Allen and Co are back for the new season of The Santa Clauses!

After 28 years, Scott Calvin reigns true as Santa Claus, leader of the North Pole and Christmas. With his family - Carol, Sandra, and Cal - by his side and his elves at the reins, Scott contends with a changing world to keep the spirit of Christmas alive for a new generation.

Joining the cast this season is Eric Stonestreet, who most of us will know as the lovable Cam from Modern Family.

New episodes are out on Disney+ every Wednesday.

“Do You Want This Doll Or Not? Go Back To Sleep.” - Scott Calvin

Die Hard

Genre: Action; Thriller

It's a question that has the potential to divide families across the nation, a debate that we may never get to the bottom of, but we have to ask - is Die Hard a Christmas film?

Whether you're team Yippy-ki-yay or nay (see what we did there?), there is no denying that this movie is a classic.

Die Hard sees Bruce Willis star as a New York City cop, John McClane, facing overwhelming odds when his Christmas visit to California is interrupted by a terrorist invasion of his estranged wife’s office building. It's up to McClane to take on the terrorists with all the grit and determination he can muster - but not without a sense of humour.

"Yippy-ki-yay!" - John McClane

The Simpsons

Genre: Comedy; Sitcom

If ever there was a show worthy of binge-watching over the holidays, it's The Simpsons. With 34 seasons of the show (over 750 episodes!) available on Disney+ right now, you can indulge in back-to-back content this Christmas.

With its subversive humour and delightful wit, the series has made an indelible imprint on American pop culture, and its family members – Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie – are television icons.

"Sorry. I'm just a big kid, and I love Christmas so much." - Homer Simpson
